School Dinners - I Shine Catering
Our school meals are cooked fresh and on site by our in-school catering team - I Shine Catering
The menus are on a 3 week rotation and change termly to include fruits and vegetables in season. Children choose their meal at the beginning of each day during registration.
School dinners are charged at £2.34 per day or £11.70 for the week.
Payments are made through Parent Pay. The school office can help you with this.
ALL RECEPTION, YEAR 1 AND YEAR 2 CHILDREN ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A FREE SCHOOL MEAL
YOUR CHILDREN HELP DESIGN THE MENU
Representatives from each class took part in some food tasting in order to create the new menu. If they like it it goes on, if they don't it doesn't! This term's tasters were like real food critics!

Provide your child with a protein filled sandwich/pasta or rice pot
Make sure your child has at least one piece of fruit or vegetable with their lunch.
Try to avoid sugary drinks like Capri Sun - water or milk or a small carton of pure juice is better.

Send cold fish fingers/chicken/pizza/burger for your child to eat.
Send in a bag of crisps every day - choose one day a week for crisps (Friday is good)
Give your child a plain croissant or doughnut instead of a sandwich
