We are so fortunate to have a theatre as one of the amazing facilities in our primary school. Our pupils get to experience the theatre in many different ways throughout the school year. From the very youngest in our Sunbeam Nursery children are able to watch shows by our own One Kind Production Team and also by visiting actors, musicians and artists. They all perform themselves throughout Word Up (our literary festival) with their class and their year group. They may be involved in our Pink Fringe Arts Festival (Go Fest) by performing or by being in the audience for others performances. They get to experience spoken word and drama workshops throughout their school life. Of course, as with most spaces in a primary school the theatre is used as a multi-functional space within the school day, a dining area, an early years library, an adult sewing course space, a pop up art exhibition venue and is used for all our after school family events such as "A Celebration of Black History" and Pamper Night.
