Sometimes our amazing staff Do More too. Have a look here at our wonderful teaching assistant Keira who was invited to Buckingham Palace to sing with her choir in front of HRH King Charles III. What an opportunity - we are so proud of her.

A very talented Y3 pupil entered the Black in White Poetry Competition and wrote a poem about childhood racism. Her poem was one of the winning poems and has been published in A collection of poems celebrating Black History Month. We are so proud of her achievement.

Racism is like potato soup

Absolutely disgusting

Cannot stand it

It feels like pain in your stomach

Sizzling hot boiling water in my head

More than unfair

This wonderful pupil donated her very long hair to the little princess trust which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair during cancer treatment. We are so proud of her kindness!

Log in to Purple Mash to look at work set by your teacher, try different activities from across the curriculum and play some amazing games!  If you don't know your username and password, please ask your class teacher. 

Exercise

It's important to stay healthy and exercise at home.  There are some great videos you can watch like our Gold Star Skill School series, Go Noodle, Just Dance and there are even LIVE PE lessons with the Body Coach, Joe Wicks.

It's so important to stay safe online.  We know you guys are always so careful but it's worth reminding yourself by watching our videos and playing the games over on the Online Safety page.

We have learnt about and celebrated a number of very inspiring and influential black men and women from the past and the present. There are so many to choose from but we learnt about, Lewis Hamilton, Mo Farah, Nicola Adams, Malorie Blackman, Marcus Rashford, Mae Jemison,  Anthony Joshua, Barack Obama, Lenny Henry, Michelle Obama, Oluadah Equiano and more.
