A snack is provided for the children in year 1. For packed lunches please make sure you provide a healthy lunchbox. See the guide on our School Dinners/Healthy Packed Lunch page

The children will have PE on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Your children should wear the correct PE kit in school. This includes a white t-shirt/Orion P.E jumper, black shorts/jogging bottoms and trainers/plimsolls.
Homework:
Homework will be sent out on Thursday and is due back, fully completed on a Tuesday. The children will also be expected to do online Mathletics homework. They will be given up to 5 spellings to learn each week and we will check these on a Thursday. Their Champion Reader/Mathletics card should also be ticked and signed by a parent or carer to evidence this at least 5 days a week.
Does your child need extra help with their homework. Watch out for our videos on our Youtube channel where you can watch Miss Stevenson explain the Y1 homework
