GO Fest 2021

We did it! 7 incredible weeks of learning against all the odds! Children at The Orion and Goldbeaters schools completed 20 GO Ventures. What are these? They are just adventures in learning! Lots of life skills and enriching tasks on top of our formal lessons to catch up through this challenging year.  Art & Sculpture, Cooking, Problem Solving, Science Investigation, Day Trips Out, Singing, Special Guest Visitors and much much more. Summer in our schools is a time to LIVE IT, LOVE IT, LEARN IT!  The children say it's the BEST time of the year. Don't forget the miracle that was our Community Evenings. Three nights for our families of fun, music, laughter, rides, food and HAPPINESS TOGETHER!

GO Fest Community Night - Let's Teem

We finally got to teem! Be altogether! After such a long time...and it was magical. Thanks to all our Orion and Goldbeaters families who came for making the evenings so special.

It's been a long time since we've been able to get out of school to go on a school trip. This half term we have done days out at Woburn Safari Park, Paradise Wildlife Park, Epping Forest, the seaside, Elstree Aerodrome, The RAF Museum, Westmill Farm and Activity Centre to do High Ropes, Laser Quest, Archery and Zorbing.

What lifts your mood better than a proper Sing Up! We sang to each other outside in our half year group bubbles and did we sing! A fantastically happy day.

Queen Elizabeth will soon be commemorating 70 years as the monarch of our country. We like to pay our respects to her and other members of our Royal family who dedicate themselves to service.

Thank to Lego who delivered enough lego bricks for us all to make a Lego dragon. We had to count out and select exactly the right combination of bricks we needed! A great activity.
